Everett Detectives Seek Public Help on Fatal Hit and Run

Friday, March 22, 2019

At about 9:20 p.m. on March 11th, an adult male was walking eastbound across Evergreen Way at Airport Rd in the crosswalk. He was struck by a northbound vehicle which then left the scene. The victim was found unconscious and transported to a local hospital where he later died from injuries sustained in the incident.

Witnesses describe the vehicle as a tan, early 2000’s SUV, similar to a Chevy Tahoe or Suburban. The SUV hit the man, backed up, then drove around him to flee northbound on Evergreen Way. Detectives believe damage to the SUV should be obvious, but not substantial.

Traffic Safety detectives continue investigating and ask the public for help to identify the vehicle and driver.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Everett Police Department TIP LINE at (425) 257-8450 or Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound at 1-800-222-TIPS
