Mysterious Note Written in Chalk Spurs Local Residents to Action

Local residents worry as a hand-lettered suicide note, printed in chalk near Lowell, is shared across social media.


"Eddie Atwood killed me with his lies. Goodbye World 10-1-19 Renee Stevens."

Social media chatter crosses the spectrum of speculation, thoughts and prayers, as well as suggestions for help. 

Reportedly, EPD has been contacted and friends and acquaintances have messaged her.

One commenter shared that she has successfully been contacted since the note was discovered. This stub article will be updated as soon as more information is available.
