The KC-46 program has been besieged by blunders since deliveries began rolling into the Air Force. Boeing issued a statement on the latest development.

​The KC-46 Pegasus deliveries to the Air Force had temporarily been suspended after “trash and industrial tools” were found inside the crafts, beginning February 28th.

The open house will take place at Hillcrest Elementary School from 6 to 8 pm. Wednesday, March 20. A short presentation will take place at 6:15 p.m. and again at 7:15 pm. WSDOT staff will be on site to discuss the new design with community members.

“We are not Seattle’s second airport. We are Everett’s first commercial passenger airport.”

​During Mayor Franklin’s State of Everett address, Franklin touched on the milestone Boeing was approaching with the 50th Anniversary of the 747, which arrives this Saturday, February 9th.

“The Boeing Company and its partners in the aerospace and advanced manufacturing industries are hugely important to Everett – and the entire state,” said Franklin. “Boeing is our top employer and offers exciting career paths for our students. I am proud to proclaim July as Aerospace Appreciation Month and thank Boeing employees for all the ways they contribute to our community.”

Seeking medical and dental care in Everett and Snohomish County is becoming more accessible, as Community Health Center of Snohomish County (CHC) opens its seventh location offering Medical Primary Care and Walk-In Care. The newest Everett-Central location is located at 4201 Rucker Avenue in Everett and there will be an Open House for the public on Thursday, January 18th from 12pm to 4pm, with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 1pm. This will be an opportunity for families to meet providers and staff, take tours of the new facility, and learn about the services available from CHC.
