
The Everett Silvertips will open the 2024 Western Hockey League post-season this Friday night with a best-of-seven series with the Vancouver Giants. The Tips finished with the #3 seed in the Western Conference with a record of 45-18-2-3 (95 points); the Giants took the #6 seed with a 32-32-4-0 record (68 points). The Saskatoon Blades of the Eastern Conference ended the regular season with the best overall record in the WHL (105 points); the Prince George Cougars took the top spot from the West (102 points). The Seattle Thunderbirds, who made the Memorial Cup Finals last year, missed the playoffs this year. Everett took the regular season series 3-1 with Vancouver.
