Russell & Hill 2020 Female Player of the Year-Kiley Hubby

Congratulations to our KRKO Radio Russell & Hill Female Athlete of the Year 2020. Lake Stevens wrestler Kiley Hubby. Kiley won her second career wrestling state championship when she pinned her opponent in the 2nd round of the 170 lb title match in the Tacoma Dome in February. She also won a 145 lb state championship as a sophomore in 2018. She also has a second place finish (2019) and a third place finish (2017) during her state career. Congratulations to our KRKO Radio Russell and Hill Male Athlete of the Month for April 2020, Owen Bishop of the Arlington High School Class of 2020. Owen was the Western Conference Baseball Player of the Year in 2019, and was expected to repeat in 2020. An outstanding pitcher and outfielder; his pitching stats last year: 8-0 with a 0.68 ERA; 85 strikeouts in 51 2/3 innings and ops batting average of .136. Congratulations to our KRKO Radio Russell and Hill Female Athlete of the Month for April 2020, Emilie Henningsen of the Glacier Peak High School Class of 2020. Emilie is heading to the University of Oregon to join their top-ranked Acrobatics & Tumbling Team. The Ducks won 4 consecutive National Championships from 2011-2014. Emilie was originally a gymnast with Cascade Elite Gymnastics where she attained Level 10 status.
