KRKO Russell & Hill Female Student Co-Athletes of the Month-November 2024-Charli Pugmire and Olivia Fast-Lake Stevens Girls Soccer

Our KRKO Russell & Hill Female Student Athletes of the Month for November 2024 are senior, co-captains of the Lake Stevens High School Girls Soccer Team, Charli Pugmire and Olivia Fast. They led the Vikings to the 2024 State 4A Girls Soccer Championship. Lake Stevens went 19-1-2 overall and 10-0 in Western Conference play. The Vikings defeated Issaquah 2-0 in the state semi-finals at Sparks Stadium in Puyallup; and capped off their dream season with a narrow 1-0 win over Woodinville in the title game. KRKO Russell & Hill Male Student Athlete of the Month-November 2024-Jayshon Limar-Lake Stevens Football

Congratulations to our KRKO Russell & Hill Male Student Athlete of the Month for November 2024; from the Lake Stevens High School Football Team, senior running back Jayshon Limar. Lake Stevens won their 10th straight Wesco 4A title this past season (and went undefeated in league play during that time) and the Vikings made it all the way to the state quarterfinals. Limar was also a member of the Lake Stevens back-to-back state champion teams in 2022 and 2023, his sophomore and junior seasons. It’s State Basketball Tournament Time!

Some consider it the best time on the sports calendar. While it’s “March Madness” in the collegiate ranks; there’s just as much “madness” on the hardwood at the high school level. This week starts the 2025 Boys & Girls State Basketball Tournament in the State of Washington. 48 teams will take to the court in three separate venues across the state.
