GiveBIG is a special two-day event where we raise vital funds to ensure the safety of our community’s homeless pets.
This year we have set a goal to raise $15,000 for homeless pets, like Taco. Taco is only 1 month old and just underwent surgery to save her life! Taco arrived with an umbilical hernia and a diaphragmatic hernia, which is a tear in her diaphragm and her liver and intestines had migrated into her chest cavity. This can cause many issues and be fatal. While performing surgery on such a young and tiny puppy does not come without risks, her surgery couldn’t wait.
