Chick-fil-A Comes to Everett Mall

Ready, set, go! A new Chick-fil-A is coming to Everett, finally. The Grand Opening is December 7th.

The restaurant, located at 1124 SE Everett Mall Way will operate from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday for dine-in, drive-thru, and carry-out. It is locally owned and operated by Brandon Ediger. Ediger, has a background in non-profit work and the restaurant industry, and is looking forward to showing care in the Everett community, the place that he and his family have called home for a long time.

In Everett, Ediger will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 110 full- and part-time Team Members, serving guests and cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses.

The classic question “where are you from?” makes Ediger smile, as he was born in Dallas, Texas, and then traveled the world as a child with his missionary parents. While stateside, he first experienced Chick-fil-A on a family vacation in North Carolina, followed by fond memories of attending restaurant openings throughout the Southeast during college.

After graduation, Ediger spent several years in non-profit work and later as a pastor. With a heart for service and eager to learn more about the restaurant industry, Ediger was afforded the opportunity to join the leadership team of Chick-fil-A Totem Lake in Kirkland, where he supported the restaurant’s opening and later served as the General Manager.

Ediger and his family have lived in the Everett area for a long time, and as the local Owner-Operator, he looks forward to the many ways his restaurant can feel like home to his Team Members and Guests.

“I’ve had such special associations with Chick-fil-A as a Guest, but I never expected that Chick-fil-A would become such an important part of my life, both personally and professionally,” said Ediger. “I am so grateful to be taking this next step as a local Owner-Operator in a community that means so much to me and my family. I want this restaurant to be a place where people make wonderful memories and where there’s care on both sides of the counter.”

In celebration of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America in honor of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Everett area to aid in the fight against hunger.

In addition, Chick-fil-A Everett Mall is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Everett area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.

To complement the great-tasting chicken, fresh produce is delivered to Chick-fil-A restaurants up to six times a week for the best quality and flavor. The fresh ingredients are raised and grown by farmers who share the company’s elevated quality and safety standards, so guests feel good about their meal.

Ediger’s restaurant plans to participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need. To date, more than 23 million meals have been created from Chick.
