Press release from the City of Everett:
The City of Everett, Everett neighborhood associations, Rubatino Refuse Removal, Inc. and Cedar Grove are teaming up for Clean Everett Day on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (or until full). Clean Everett Day is a “spring clean” event to pick up trash and debris around the city. Community members are encouraged to participate by signing up to volunteer or by bringing items for disposal to one of four collection sites:
- Cascade High School, 801 E Casino Rd
- Lowell Elementary School, 5010 View Dr
- North Middle School, 2514 Rainier Ave
- Sequoia High School, 3516 Rucker Ave
Everett neighborhood associations and community partners will be participating in community cleanups throughout the city. The community cleanup team volunteers will collect trash and debris in parks, along streets and sidewalks and in other public spaces, and transfer them to collection sites for disposal. Volunteers are also needed to monitor the collection sites to direct traffic and assist cleanup teams with trash disposal. There will be dumpsters available at select Everett Public Schools locations: Cascade High School, Lowell Elementary School, North Middle School and Sequoia High School. In addition, there will be yard waste collection available at Cascade High School.
