Coffee with the Chief is Launching March 29Tue, March 27, 2018 by Everett PostSHARE NOW The Center Square NewsHomeNorth Sound StoriesCoffee with the Chief is Launching March 29From the City of Sultan:Community members are invited to attend the first evening Coffee with the Chief event, which takes place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 29, at the Sultan Ixtapa.Sultan Police Chief Steve McDonald scheduled the meeting after multiple community members requested that a Coffee with the Chief event be held later in the day, to accommodate those that work out of the area. Held on a monthly basis, Coffee with the Chief meetings are meant to improve communication between the community and its law enforcement officers. Sky Valley residents are invited to bring their questions, compliments and concerns, as the event is an open forum with no set structure. Dialogue is encouraged and all are welcome to attend.This month’s meeting will likely include somebody from Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office command staff, McDonald said, giving attendees the chance to learn more about sheriff’s office leadership.We hope to see you there!The Sultan Ixtapa is located at 507 W Stevens Ave. in Sultan.
