EVERETT, MAY 19: The Everett Municipal Building (EMB) will temporarily close for two weeks in June for infrastructure upgrades and replacements.

The EMB will close Monday, June 2 and will reopen Monday June 16. Though the EMB will be closed, City of Everett services will remain open and accessible online, by phone or from alternate locations.

Home to the Mayor’s Office the EMB also hosts City Council, Planning, Clerk Legal, Prosecutor, Community Development, Economic Development, Human Resources, IT, Finance and Communications & Engagement.

The closure is due to “critical infrastructure upgrades by Snohomish County PUD and replacement of the HVAC system,” according to the city.

Access to emergency services or departments that aren’t based out of the EMB will not be impacted during the closure.
