EVERETT, MARCH 12: Everett Transit is inviting the public to provide input on its proposed Fall 2025 Service Changes, aimed at improving connections to regional services in South Everett and enhancing overall system efficiency.
The proposal includes three options—A, B and C—all designed to ensure access to popular work locations, schools, parks, and residential areas, either directly or with a transfer.
Several changes are common across all three options, including adjustments to Routes 12 and 29. However, each option includes different proposals for Routes 3, 8, and 18. Option A also introduces a new route. Additionally, the proposal considers expanding service to cover four major holidays: New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
The highlight of the proposal is adding service to Route 12, which connects Seaway Transit Center with Everett Mall via Casino Rd and 7th Ave SE. Instead of terminating at Everett Mall, the route would continue on 7th Ave SE to the South Everett Freeway Station (connections to ST 510, 512, 532; CT 903, 904, 905), serve Murphy’s Corner, and end at McCollum Park & Ride (CT 106, 109, 901, Swift Orange & Green).
Though the proposed service changes primarily impact South Everett, Everett Transit encourages all customers to review the full proposal and share feedback. The changes aim to enhance connectivity within Everett and improve links to regional transit services, including Community Transit and Sound Transit.
