Funko Releases Limited Edition Australian Firefighter Pop!, ‘Bushfire Heroes’

Funko is stepping up to the plate to raise money for the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals’ National Bushfire Appeal. The RSPCA works “alongside government and emergency agencies, veterinarians and local authorities to provide much needed equipment and supplies, emergency care and identifying and assessing injured animals in need of assistance,” according to Funko’s blog.

The Pop! is dressed in fire fighting garb, and has a small koala clutching the leg of the figurine.

The figurine is a collaboration with the Australian collectible store Popculcha and is exclusively available at their website. Pre-orders are available now, with delivery expected in June.

“Once the active fire zones are clear, that’s when our most challenging work begins,” states the RSCPA on their landing page for donations. “Our work will continue for months after the fires have ceased.

All profits from the sale of the Pop! go directly to the RSPCA.
