From the City of Everett: Get outside and play! See below for the full press release from the city.

Rediscover the joys of being active outside together as Everett celebrates a national day of outdoor play, Kids to Parks Day, on Saturday,
May 18 at Walter E. Hall (10 a.m. to noon) and
Forest Park (1-3 p.m.).

Each location offers a variety of activities for youth and families, in addition to enticing play equipment and potential new friends to meet.
From field day sports and ollies to nature walks and trail runs, Everett Parks & Community Services wants to help children and families
discover all there is to experience in Everett’s many parks.

“Life can get so busy that we need an invitation to escape to the outdoors and play, and Kids to Parks Day offers that,” said Lori Cummings,
parks and community services director. “This is a great opportunity to breathe some fresh air, enjoy a fun day together and participate
in some of the many amenities our Everett’s parks have to offer.”

Park rangers and City staff are leading the fun and games at Kids to Parks Day, along with community partners and sponsors: Play It Again Sports,
Skyhawks, Premier Golf, Hand in Hand, Washington Team Disc Golf, Dairy Queen and Trader Joe’s.
