HONORING Officer Dan Rocha

With broken hearts the Everett community continues its tribute to fallen Officer Dan Rocha, tragically lost in the line of duty, while doing what he loved best, serving our citizens. He leaves a wife and two sons. The featured photo above was provided by his family as one of their many favorites.

On Sunday beginning at 7:30 pm, a candlelight vigil will be held at the Everett Police Department headquarters on Wetmore Avenue, where a still growing public memorial has been taking place. Please attend if you can, to show your support for his family.

On Monday, April 4th at 1:00 pm, a memorial and celebration of Officer Dan Rocha will take place at the Angel of the Winds Arena. This event will be open to the public and all who are able are encouraged to attend. There will be a procession before to the Arena, details and map are not finalized at this time. Please check back for those details later today and over the weekend. This information will also be covered by KRKO ad KXA’s on-air staff with up-to-date details.

A memorial fund has been set up to support his family. You can donate at Dan Rocha Memorial Fund, or at any branch of Coastal Community Bank by cash or check. You can also donate at the City of Everett’s Clerks Office located at 2930 Wetmore Avenue, Suite 1-A Everett, WA. 98201.
