You can find this annual event at the Arlington Airport, through the 188th St entrance. As always, this is a free service, and great for those of you who have updated or renovated around the home recently. That old plasma TV you finally swapped out, the fridge from the garage that started sounding like a 747 taking off when it kicks on, the futon you wouldn’t dream of dropping off at a thrift store ever since the dog did that one thing to it: all have a home at this event. What you can bring: Refrigerators, freezers, microwaves, computers, TVs, monitors, printers, copiers, keyboards, recyclable metals, furniture, household debris, tires (four per household and must be removed from wheels).Do not bring: household hazardous waste, day-to-day trash, yard waste, or latex paint. Do not expect document shredding, and remember that this service is for private residents, not commercial vendors or businesses. For details, contact 360-403-3549 or email [email protected]
