IN MEMORIUM OF MARK BRINKMAN, A GIANT LOSS

Snohomish County lost one of its finest last weekend.  Mark Brinkman, a selfless Police Officer for the Lynwood Police Department, spent his life dedicated to public service and community safety. Mark was the law enforcement liaison assigned to the Target Zero program and was the most passionate traffic safety advocate Maury Eskenazi and Stitch Mitchell ever met, both, of the Everett Post Team. Mark Brinkman and Stacey McShane, The Sno Co Target Zero Manager, worked closely together to build what is our current traffic safety program in Snohomish county.

Mark arrested thousands of DUI drivers over the years and mentored many young officers while saving countless lives. Mark was the man in charge during our annual DUI Show. The hole he is leaving in Snohomish county is a very, large one.

Mark loved his wife Leslie more than life itself. They recently celebrated 34 years since their first date. He was so excited to start the next chapter in his life as “grandpa”, his granddaughter is due in just a few short weeks.

Please join us at the Everett Post Team in remembrance of this remarkable man.  His shoes are big.
