EVERETT, FEB. 5: Roughly 60 people participated in a demonstration asking elected officials to take action against federal funding decisions made by President Trump and Elon Musk.
“Since taking office, President Trump and Elon Musk have worked together to defund the federal government from the inside while consolidating power into the hands of a right-wing elite,” Organizers Snohomish County Indivisible said in a press release.
People held signs saying, “Americans against oligarchy” and “Block, delay, obstruct. No excuses.”
The rally and march began at noon at the Snohomish County Courthouse Plaza and made its way to 2930 Wetmore where Senator Maria Cantwell and Rep. Rick Larsen have offices.
