Press release from the Washington State Department of Transportation:

EVERETT, JULY 15: Southbound State Route 529 across the Snohomish River Bridge in Everett will close from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Sunday, July 21 for routine bridge inspection.

A signed detour will be in place during the closure. People should plan for added travel time and seek alternative routes.

The southbound closure will not affect northbound SR 529 traffic, which is temporarily sharing the bridge with southbound traffic. The northbound bridge is closed for repairs and painting until mid-October.
