Our KRKO Radio Russell & Hill Male Athlete of the Month for October 2019 is Brady Thomas from the Jackson High School Tennis Team. Brady was the 2018-2019
4A State Champion Runner up in the Boys Singles Tennis Tournament. He won the 2019 4A District Championship on October 28th by avenging his only loss
of the season when he defeated Dario Ristovski of Glacier Peak in the finals 4-6, 6-1, 6-2. Brady also won the 2019 Snohomish Summer Smash singles
tournament in July and did not drop a single game on the way to the title. Also teamed up with Anju Vimawala (Jackson Class of 2019) to win the doubles
tournament.Only a Junior so college is still a year off. Quote from Jackson Head Coach David Hutt “Brady is a 3.8 GPA student and is willing to help
out others in class and on the court.” Congratulations Brady!
