Our KRKO Russell & Hill Male Student Athlete for the Month of September 2021 is Marysville Pilchuck senior football player Dylan Carson. Dylan rushed for a state-leading and school record 2,671 yards (eighth all-time in the State of Washington); and a school record 46 all-purpose touchdowns (third best all-time). Defensively, Carson recorded 76 tackles, 14 tackles for loss and 4 quarterback sacks. Marysville Pilchuck advanced to the 3A State Semi-Finals and along the way set a school record with 427 yards rushing and 5 TDs in a 39-21 State Quarterfinals victory over #3 ranked Yelm. The Tomahawks went 11-2 for the 2021 season. Dylan recently announced that he will further his football career at the collegiate level at The Air Force Academy.
