Congratulations to our KRKO Russell & Hill Male Student Athlete of the Month for September 2024; from the Jackson High School Boys Tennis Team senior Ben Lee. Ben won the NW District Boys Championship for the 4th consecutive year and will compete at the 4A State Tennis Tournament in the spring. He lost the state championship last year as a junior but won the title as a sophomore after finishing 5th in state in 9th grade. Ben helped Jackson win the state team championship in 2022 and 2024; they finished second in 2023. He finished this regular season undefeated, and didn’t lose a single set all season. Lee carries a 3.6 grade point average; he is still weighing his collegiate opportunities. Head boys tennis coach at Jackson High School is David Hutt; Athletic Director is Erik Heinz.
