Congratulations to our KRKO Russell & Hill Female Student Athlete of the Month for April 2025; senior Allie Thomsen from the Jackson High School Softball team. Allie was a member of two straight state championship teams, 2023 and 2024, but really got her chance to shine when she got to her senior year; hitting a robust .544; with an on-base percentage of .651 and slugging .949. She hit 6 homeruns and had 26 RBI; leading the supposedly rebuilding Timberwolves team to the State 4A Semi-Finals where they lost to eventual state champions Skyview 2-0. Jackson took third place. Thomsen was also named a WIAA Player of the Week and was honored as the Female Athlete of the Year for the Everett Public Schools. Allie carried a 3.5 GPA during her high school academic career and has accepted a scholarship to play softball at the University of Washington.
