Congratulations to our KRKO Russell & Hill Female Student Athlete of the Month for December 2024; from the Edmonds-Woodway High School Girls Wrestling Team, senior Hannah Baldock. After starting her wrestling career as a sophomore, Hannah finished sixth in state as a junior, and this year captured the Class 3A 120 pound state championship at the 2025 Mat Classic at the Tacoma Dome. She finished the season with a 42-5 record, and recorded Dome wins over wrestlers from Kennewick (Fall); Thomas Jefferson (Tech Fall), Shelton (Fall) and notched a Major Decision victory over her opponent from White River. Baldock carried a 3.98 GPA in her academic career at Edmonds-Woodway and will attend The University of San Diego in the fall. Head girls wrestling coach of the Warriors is Tre House; athletic director is Tyler Geving.
