Our KRKO Russell & Hill Female Student Athletes of the Month for November 2024 are senior, co-captains of the Lake Stevens High School Girls Soccer Team, Charli Pugmire and Olivia Fast. They led the Vikings to the 2024 State 4A Girls Soccer Championship. Lake Stevens went 19-1-2 overall and 10-0 in Western Conference play. The Vikings defeated Issaquah 2-0 in the state semi-finals at Sparks Stadium in Puyallup; and capped off their dream season with a narrow 1-0 win over Woodinville in the title game. Olivia is a multi-sport athlete. She was also a state qualifier and top 8 in the 4×200 relay; plus First-Team All-Wesco in the 4×200 relay and 4×400 relay on the track team. She has an interest in education as a career. Charli is also a multi-sport athlete. Last year for the Vikings’ softball team, she went 11-1, with a miniscule 0.72 ERA.
