Congratulations to our KRKO Russell & Hill Male Student Athlete of the Month for January 2025; from the Arlington High School Boys Wrestling Team, senior Tre Haines. Tre ended his junior season at Arlington with a 51-0 record and a third straight state championship at 157 pounds at the 2025 Mat Classic at the Tacoma Dome. He has the distinction of winning two titles in Class 3A; and then moving up one classification to 4A this year. For his career Haines is a three-time state champion; two-time U.S. Junior Nationals All-American (Fargo ND); three-time U.S. Open Champion; and ranked #50 in the nation at 157 lbs. Carrying a 3.2 GPA; Tre has one more year of high school competition but has already committed to wrestle at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
