Prep Sports Weekly for Thursday, January 21, 2021. We’re awaiting the high school football sports seasons, especially the athletes and the coaches, but how about the officials? Steve Jensen of the Snohomish County Football Officials Association tells us about the preparation for the referees that will be calling the games, once they commence. Then we hear from a Stanwood High School freshman golfer who has already made a name for himself at the national level (including Augusta Nationals) Conrad Chisman. Finally, the head Coach of the Bainbridge High School Baseball Team, and a Jackson High School alum Geoff Brown. Bainbridge is considered to be the best team in the state of Washington, and are hoping to participate in the prestigious 2021 USA Baseball High School Invitational in Cary, North Carolina.
