First up, it’s our KRKO Russell & Hill Male Student Athlete of the Month for February 2022, Edmonds-Woodway wrestler Alex Rapelje and his coach Brian Alfi (Alex won his second state championship at this year’s Mat Classic). Then it’s our KRKO Russell & Hill Female Student Athlete of the Month, Marysville Pilchuck wrestler Alivia White and her coach (and mom) Andie White (Alivia also won her second state title at Mat Classic). We talk community college championship basketball with the Executive Director of the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) Marco Azurdia; their 16 team tournament starts this weekend at Everett Community College. Finally, the head baseball coach at Marysville Getchell High School Gabe Rochon with a spring preview of the Chargers.
