Prep Sports Weekly for April 22, 2021 featured a handful of the top Class of 2021 Track & Field Athletes from Wesco.

We heard from Arlington High School Head Coach Judd Hunter and one of his top performers, Jaden Roskelley.  Jaden currently has the best long jump in the state in 2021 and ranks 3rd in the 110 meter hurdles.

In segment #2, we spoke to the 2019 3A Girls Shot Put State Champion, Kiana Lino of Shorecrest.  Kiana is having another outstanding season as a shot put and discus thrower and also plans to play basketball for the Scots next month, the team that she helped lead to the Tacoma Dome last year.  Kiana will be attending Boston University in the Fall.

A couple of Snohomish Panthers girls Track stand outs also paid PSW a visit.  Bree Nichols, who currently has the top triple jump amongst 3A girls in Washington state in 2021 along with the #2 long jump and #9 high jump and her teammate, Ellie Baxter.  Ellie placed in the Top 15 in state in the 1600 meter and 3200 meter races back in 2019 and has also placed in the Top 15 in at a State Cross Country event.

The final segment featured two members of the Edmonds-Woodway Track team: Kaddy Kongira who had podium finishes in the 4×100, 4×200 and 4×400 relay races at the 2019 Girls State Championships and Evan Graves who currently has the fastest time in the 300 meter hurdles among all runners in Washington state in 2021.
