Prep Sports Weekly for April 29, 2021 featured five local athletes and two coaches who are currently involved in Spring Sports.

Members of the undefeated Jackson Timberwolves baseball team: Zach Ediger (Everett CC), Ryan Contreras (Everett CC) and Evan Canfield (Edmonds CC) joined the show to talk about their season and where they are heading to college.

Mariner junior softball pitcher Alexis Slater and her Head Coach, Nathan Beachy, were our interview guests for segment two.  Alexis struck out 21 batters in the Marauders 1-0 victory over Lynnwood last week and her 134 strikeouts on the season, currently rank 3rd in the state.

Our final segment featured Meadowdale senior soccer standout River Stewart and his Head Coach, Mike Nelson.  River was the 2019 Everett Herald Boys Soccer Player of the Year as a sophomore after he scored 32 goals and added 10 assists, helping Meadowdale win the District Championship and clinching their first State Tournament berth since 2005.
