Prep Sports Weekly for Monday May 17, 2021 covered Boys Swimming, Football and Boys Basketball. Segment 1 featured Kamiak Boys and Girls Swimming Head Coach Chris Erickson. Erickson gave us a general update on what swimming meets are looking like during Stage 3 and also talked about his star swimmers, twins Vlad and Slava Gilszmer as well as the other key members of the team.
Ryland Spencer of Cascadia Preps talked about all things high school football in segment 2. Topics ranged from the Cleats vs Cancer game that took place over the weekend, some of the key local players and who he thinks will be the top teams in the state in the Fall.
Cleats vs Cancer football players Jai Nath of Mountlake Terrace and Makai Williams of Snohomish were the guests during the 3rd segment and talked about their experiences over the weekend, their football careers and college ambitions.
Cascade Bruins Boys Basketball Head Coach Shane Stenesen was on during the final segment and provided us with information about his team and shared with us his basketball coaching background.
