Prep Sports Weekly for Monday, May 22, 2023. Heading into the state championship weekend for spring sports and we hear from two coaches that are heading to Lacey and the Class 3A Softball Tournament; Patrick Ryan, head softball coach at Stanwood and Patti Lande, head softball coach at Snohomish. Then it’s boys soccer and the state semi-finals and finals at Sparks Stadium in Puyallup, we hear from Jason Hanson, head coach at Edmonds-Woodway. Finally, we hear from Tara Polk about a Healthy Heart Event on Saturday, June 3rd at Everett Memorial Stadium; the event is in honor of her late husband Robert Polk who was Athletic Director of the Everett Public Schools.
