It’s all-state championship wrestling on this week’s edition of Prep Sports Weekly for Monday, May 5, 2025. We start with two girl state champions, seniors Hannah Baldock (120-Edmonds-Woodway) and Libby Norton (105-Shorewood); along with coaches Tre House (EW) and Derek Norton (SW). Next up, it’s sophomore Kylee Wicklund (140-Lake Stevens) and junior Mia Cienega (190-Everett); along with coach Jordain Harrop (E). Segment three was the Ottow family of Snohomish, with wrestler sophomore Malia Ottow and her coaches dad Jordan and mom Stephanie. Stephanie is also the Director of the Washington State Women’s Wrestling Association. Finally, it’s a pair of three-time state champion boys wrestlers, with senior Connor Aney of Glacier Peak and junior Tre Haines of Arlington; along with coaches Adam Aney, himself a state champion (1993, Monroe) and Jonny Gilbertson of Arlington.
