It’s a special edition of Prep Sports Weekly on Thursday 3/22/18:
While they call Snohomish County the “Cradle of Coaches” for football in the 1960s; including such luminaries as Mike Price, Dennis Erickson and Keith
Gilbertson Jr. How about Snohomish High School in the late 1980s and their basketball coaches?
Head coach Jim Adams planted his “coaching tree,” and in just a four-year span, contributed five successful coaches to high school basketball.
On Thursday’s edition of Prep Sports Weekly, hosts Tom Lafferty and Steve Willits will welcome Coach Jim Adams to the studio, along with his protégés:
Nate Duchesne (Stanwood HS and now principal at Mariner High School); Mark Harkins (Glacier MT HS); Ken Roberts (Girls coach at Snohomish HS);
Brian Hunter (Boys coach at Glacier Peak HS) & Jeff Larson (Redmond HS and now principal at Glacier Peak). By the way, they were all pretty
good players too.
