The Tulalip Resort Casino has announced a star-studded line-up for 2021 “Summer Concert Series” at the Tulalip Amphitheatre. The concerts will be at full capacity (3,000 attendees).

According to the resort, the concert series will kick off with Billy Idol followed by ZZ Top, Pat Benatar, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, and Kenny Loggins. “Tickets for all five concerts go on sale Friday, June 18, at 10 a.m. through, or service charge-free at Tulalip Resort Casino’s Box Office or the Quil Ceda Creek Casino ONE club desk.”

Billy Idol (Sunday, August 15); $125/$115/$105/$80

Punk icon Billy Idol was founder of the influential band Generation X and is known for his high-energy live shows and ’80s major solo hits “White Wedding” and “Rebel Yell.” In addition to his recent album releases, Idol is a sought-after collaborator with other artists including Miley Cyrus, and lends his support to environmental and wildfire relief causes.

ZZ Top (Thursday, August 19); $120/$110/$100/$90

Renowned for their live performances, ZZ Top has been a crowd-pleaser for decades and first gained major recognition with big hits “La Grange” and “Tush.” The band’s signature sound has deep Texas roots accented by founder Billy Gibbon’s blues guitar style and the rhythm section of Dusty Hill (bass) and Frank Beard (drums).

Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo (Sunday, August 29); $100/$90/$80/$70

Four-time Grammy Award winner Pat Benatar’s soaring vocals continue to thrill audiences, and she is joined on stage by her lead guitarist and husband Neil Giraldo. She is perhaps best known for her mega single, “Hit Me With Your Best Shot,” and the singer-songwriter has two multi-Platinum albums, five Platinum albums, and 15 Billboard Top 40 singles to her credit.

Joan Jet and The Blackhearts (Saturday, September 4); $100/$90/$80/$70

With mezzo-soprano vocal range, Joan Jett has scored three albums that have been certified platinum or gold. Joined by The Blackhearts, Jett is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee who is best known for her rock anthem “I Love Rock ‘n Roll,” a former number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

Kenny Loggins (Thursday, September 9); $115/$105/$95/$80

Born in Everett, Kenny Loggins’ return to the area marks a homecoming for this award-winning singer, writer and composer. His remarkable chart-topping career spans folk and rock genres and he’s been the toast of the Grammys with a number of major hits on Hollywood’s favorite soundtrack tracks, including Footloose and Caddyshack.
