Want to have a lot of fun? Then take part in the Mad Hatter Derby
This is the Snohomish Lions Club’s third annual Mad Hatter Derby and it looks like a blast! It is a costume party masquerading as a croquet tournament, with an Alice in Wonderland theme.
There are several costume contest categories, and their costumes are MAD MAD MAD. Though, a lot of people also choose to go with their Croquet Whites or fine garden attire. Use your imagination, after all Alice had a very vivid one.
Croquet is either competitive (play to win), or social (play for fun). The competition is quite serious, or as serious as you can be wearing rabbit ears!
The 2023 Mad Hatter Derby Snohomish Lions’ fundraiser is September 9th from 1pm to 6pm at Harvey Field in Snohomish to purchase a ticket, follow our @MadHatterDerby Facebook page, and for costume ideas or to volunteer.
Tickets are $45 ticket each and include our famous Derby Bites and one drink ticket (a signature cocktail, and premium beer, wine, or non-alcoholic choices). Your ticket purchase is a donation to our service in vision, hearing, education, hunger, seniors, community grants, environment, and diabetes.
