Angel Of The Winds Casino Resort has been named one of the 100 best companies to work for by Seattle Business Magazine, finishing in the top five.
“The company puts its employees first knowing that it will benefit from it in the long run. The culture is awesome and feels like you belong to a family. When the company does well, it reinvests in its employees,” said one employee.
The Casino Resort closed its doors for two months due to the COVID-19 pandemic. When they reopened their doors, they became the first casino to do so in Western Washington.
Following strict Washington State guidelines set by Washington State Gov. Jay Inslee, they performed tasks such as temperature checks upon entry and only allowing limited capacity.
According to a Seattle Times article, the tribe also instituted an all-smoke-free policy, the first in the state in a tribal casino, to create and maintain a healthier environment. But smoking areas outdoors are provided.
Angel Of The Winds Casino Resort won the fifth spot in the Large Companies Category ranked in order as determined by a vote of employees, according to the resorts press release.
The Angel Of The Winds Casino is operated by the Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians.
