AquaSox Win Seventh Straight Everett Cup
Everett, WA – The Everett AquaSox honored Harold Pyatte, the Everett Merchants longtime Manager, by having him throw out the ceremonial
first pitch in recognition of his 2017 induction into The Snohomish County Sports Hall of Fame. His Merchants team took an early lead in the game,
but the AquaSox took the lead during an explosive sixth inning, as five Frogs crossed plate. The AquaSox defeated the Merchants 7-3 at Everett Memorial
Stadium in the traditional game between the co-tenants of the stadium.
Bryce Brandl hit a three-run home run driving in both Luke Leonard and Austin Atwell with two outs in the top of the third to give the Merchants the lead.
Trailing going into the bottom of sixth inning, the Frogs’ bats finally started heating up; scoring five runs and the margin of victory, and take home
the seventh straight Everett Cup win for the AquaSox.
The Sox will start Northwest League action at home Thursday night at 7:05 PM against the Hillsboro Hops! Group tickets, family outings and ticket packages
