Go…Cheerleaders! 750+ compete in Cheerleading State Championships at Xfinity Arena in Everett

This weekend in Everett, hundreds of cheerleaders will gather to cheer, compete and show their spirit!

Saturday, January 28, the top 50 High School Cheerleading teams from across Washington state–including Cascade, Bothell, Meadowdale and
Lynnwood–will compete in the 2018 State Cheerleading Championships coordinated by the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association
(WIAA).

More than 750 high school students in teams varying in size from a few students to more than 25 will be competing at Xfinity Arena in Everett in non-tumbling
and tumbling events throughout the day. Teams are coming from local areas and as far away as the Tri-Cities.

The event is open to the public and is sponsored by WIAA, Dairy Farmers of Washington and Les Schwab Tires.

Dedicated to providing opportunities for students to expand their learning beyond the classroom, the WIAA organizes and oversees more than 120 State Championships
and provides the structure for more than 180,000 high school and middle level students at 800 member high schools and middle level schools to participate
in five different activity and sixteen athletics programs.

Tickets: $8.00 Students (with valid ASB card), Seniors (62+) and Kids (5-11)

$10.00 Adults (12-61), Free for Kids Under 5

Who: 50 High School Cheerleading teams/approximately 750 competitors from across the state competing at the 2015 State Cheerleading Championships
