Tuesday, January 16 is the Annual Coaches vs. Cancer game at Arlington High School as the Arlington Eagles take on the Snohomish Panthers in a Wesco 3A
boys basketball game. Caryn Brown is spear-heading this 8th annual event, which features honorary coaches; a silent auction; and adorning the gym,
spectators and players in pink. Caryn is a cancer survivor herself and is the wife of Eagles boys coach Nick Brown. Coach Jim Wilson of Snohomish said
the Panthers are “all in” on the cause and will also wear pink. FOX Sports 1380 & FM 95.3’s Tom Lafferty & Bill Kusler will broadcast the game;
and Prep Sports Weekly co-host Steve Willits will serve as an honorary coach. Game time is 7:15 pm at Arlington High School; with all the events and
activities, the recommendation is to arrive early.
