Are you looking for a place to get vaccinated with no appointment necessary? The Skagit County Public Health Department (SCPH) is inviting you to get your vaccine this Saturday, May 15 at the Burlington Edison High School Fieldhouse from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. located at 301 N Burlington Boulevard, Burlington 98233.

According to the SCPH release, the vaccine will be offered on a first come, first served basis. “You know, if you get vaccinated this weekend, you will be fully vaccinated by the Fourth of July,” said Public Health Director Jennifer Johnson. “I know as a fully vaccinated person, I’m looking forward to seeing family and friends without fear of spreading COVID-19, and I want that for all Skagitonians!”

The Fieldhouse vaccination center will be distributing the Pfizer vaccine to all Washingtonians 12-years of age and older. If you would like to make an appointment to ensure a dose is available, you can do so here.

Laurel Browning, Superintendent of the Burlington Edison School District is urging all eligible students to get vaccinated, “We really want to see our kids getting vaccinated… It’s easier than ever and so important for your health and the health of those around you.”

A ‘no appointment needed’ walk up clinic is offered through Public Health every Thursday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Fairgrounds. If you’d like to learn more, go to www.skagitcounty.net/covidvaccine or call Public Health at 360-416-1500.
