It’s Mother’s Day Weekend and the Markets are OPEN!

What a tough year!  As we emerge from our quarantines at home, we are resilient!  Our local famers and growers have persevered to continue to provide us with fresh produce to sustain us through all these difficult times.

It is now time to thank them.  With Mother’s Day approaching, our beloved Farmers Markets are all reopening.  They bring you fresh fruits, vegetables, honey, flowers, crafts and more.  Our ability to support them is welcomed and needed for their continued efforts to keep us nourished and their survival to do so depends on us.

Here is a link that will provide you with your local markets’ days and hours: WA Farmers Markets. Simply select your county and area to discover where they are.  They might be small or large, around your corner or a short drive.  But dinner will never be better than something fresh from the field.

All markets are following guidelines for safety and offering hand sanitizing stations, as well as all other protocols.

Go to the market, grab you lunch for the picnic basket, and drive up the North Cascades Highway which is now OPEN in time for Mother’s Day!
