All salmon fishing has been closed in Marine Area 10 effective, January 19, 2021.  This is due to the threshold of encounters being exceeded.  The threshold for total unmarked encounters was exceeded (738 of 579) and the guideline for total sublegal encounters was met (3224).

This means save our salmon.

This fishery will remain closed for the rest of the winter season.

If you must go fishing, year-round piers including Bremerton Boardwalk, Illahee State Park Pier, Seacrest Pier, and Waterman Pier remain open for salmon fishing.
