NORTH SOUND, DEC. 13: Psssst…kids young and old of all ages. Here is some news that offers wonderful holiday magic from Santa’s helpers!

For the 69th year, the North American Aerospace Defense Command or NORAD will again have their Official NORAD Tracks Santa website in operation on Dec. 24 – Christmas Eve. Their Santa Tracker will display real-time progress of Santa as he stops at every home around the world, starting at 6 a.m. Pacific Time.

But wait, there is more holiday good news! General Motors (GM) has collaborated with NORAD once again to also provide real-time updates on Santa’s adventures around the globe by pressing the blue On-Star button in vehicles with active plans.

Beginning on Dec. 16 and ending when Santa launches his global visits on Christmas Eve, children of all ages can call Kris Kringle directly to ensure they are on thenice list’, share their gift wish list, and hear a Christmas story. In addition, the On-Star Guardian app can track Santa’s location through their mobile phones by clicking on the Santa hat icon.

“On-Star technology will add holiday magic to families starting on Dec. 16 The blue On-Star button in GM vehicles gives access to ask for Santa’s whereabouts, the Guardian app will help determine where Santa is, and now kids can even talk with Santa!GM’s Elf Spokesperson, Alex Resonder said,

GM’s On-Star service has partnered with NORAD for 16 years and has located Santa more than 100,000 times. Each time an On-Star request to locate Santa is made; GM and On-Star will contribute $1 to the American Red Cross up to $30,000, supporting those who are recovering from a disaster. Asking to find Santa helps many others in need – a great cause.
