The shores of Lake Stevens will come alive with the spirit of Norse adventure and local pride as the second annual Going a Viking festival returns Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Lundeen Park.
This immersive celebration of Viking culture—honoring the Lake Stevens High School Vikings—offers a full day of history, innovation, and spirited fun for all ages.
Festival Highlights Include:
• Arts & Crafts inspired by Norse mythology and Viking life
• Live reenactments by Sea Wolf Voyages and other groups showcasing Viking combat and daily living
• Student exhibitions from high school clubs connecting past traditions with future technologies
• Lake Stevens Lacrosse Club activities and community engagement
• Food trucks serving up a feast worthy of a Viking chieftain
• A replica Viking ship sailing across Lundeen Bay
