EVERETT, NOV. 7: Once a month the Everett Community Ice Rink will offer “Community Access Night,” providing free access to the rink in partnership with Community Transit.
The new initiative offers free admission to the public ice skate session held on the second Friday of each month. “Community Access Night” ensures accessibility by combining a no-cost recreation opportunity with free regional transit for those 18 and younger, Angel of the Winds Arena said in a press release.
The inaugural event will take place at 5 p.m., Friday, Nov. 14 at the Everett Community Ice Rink on the corner of Hewitt Ave. and Broadway.

“Youth across the region ride for free on Community Transit and other transit systems, while adults pay $2.50, making it easier than ever for young people and their families to get to the rink and enjoy a fun evening at Community Access Skate Night,” Community Transit CEO Ric Ilgenfritz said.
Public transportation to the Everett Community Ice Rink is available through several Community Transit routes, including Community Transit Routes 201, 202, ST 512, and the Swift Blue Line. To plan your trip, see here.
