EVERETT, NOV. 10: A free, all-ages watch party for the U.S. Soccer Men’s National Team match against Uruguay will take place at the Flying Pig next week.

The event is a collaboration between the City of Everett, United Soccer League (USL), Snohomish County Sports Commission and the Greater Everett Chamber of Commerce.

The event scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 18, is the final match before the FIFA World Cup 26 Final Draw, where 48 competing nations will learn their group stage opponents for the tournament.

Doors will open at 3:30 p.m. with kickoff at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, at the Flying Pig, 1414 Hewitt Ave. During the event, there will be an opportunity to engage with representatives from the city, USL and the Snohomish County Sports Commission to learn more about the effort to bring professional soccer to Everett, the city said in a press release.

Attendees are encouraged to bring one or more nonperishable food donations to support Volunteers of America Western Washington.

Those who donate will receive a complimentary beer or soda, courtesy of the USL, while supplies last.

The city is in negotiations with USL to bring professional men’s and women’s soccer teams to Everett through the development of the Outdoor Event Center. The proposed multi-use facility would replace Funko Field as the home for the AquaSox and offer concerts, markets and community gatherings.

Everett is designated as an official Fan Zone location for FIFA World Cup 26, where fans can experience the tournament through live match viewings, community celebrations and family-friendly activities. More information about Everett’s Fan Zone to come in early 2026, the release said.

The Snohomish County Sports Commission will be hosting a Draw Event from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, at Sound 2 Summit Brewery, 1710 W. Marine View Dr., bringing together local soccer fans for the reveal of what teams will be playing in the upcoming tournament.
