Mark your calendars for September 19th from 12-6PM, for the Whidbey Island Cider Festival, at and benefitting Pacific Rim Institute. This event, free to the general public, includes live music, food trucks, vendors, and a Kids’ Zone.

The highlight of this event includes the hard cider and alcohol tasting from brewers and distillers from Whidbey Island and beyond. This year we are pleased to announce Bend Cider, coming to us from Bend, Oregon, along with 3 Dog Cider, who won our Best in Taste last year for their Tropical Pooch Cider, Misfit Island Cider, Whidbey Distillery, Hierophant, and many others!

Tickets for the hard cider and alcohol tasting are $35 in advance, and $40 the day of the event.  Tickets include a logo glass and 6 tasting tokens to use in the cider garden.

Bring the whole family to listen to live music in the all-ages sit and sip garden, or relax in the 21+ Pour and Sip section as kids dance with ribbons and hoops at the Kids’ Zone, brought to us by Pyro Dancers LLC.

Music throughout the day by Sage Haze, Lauren Flynn, The Enthusiasts, The Shifty Sailors, Collins Beach, and The Wax Lips.  Food trucks at the event include Stoneham Pizza, Whidbey Sips, Jamaican Jerk Shack, Wandering Asian, Hot Dogs, Kettle Corn, and more! Get a headstart on holiday shopping from vendors bringing art, jewelry, soaps, and other crafted items.

The Whidbey Island Cider Festival is the major fundraising event for Pacific Rim Institute and a chance to share with the community the work that Pacific Rim Institute does to restore the endangered westside prairie habitat and the species found therein.

Leashed dogs are welcomed on the property, but due to expected crowds in the cider garden, we ask that you think of their comfort. Due to the dry nature of the prairie, we ask that folks refrain from smoking on the property.

We hope to see you there for good food, good music, and a good time!
