GREENVILLE, North Carolina — The Snohomish girls, representing the Northwest division at the Little League Softball World series, lost 5-0 in a quarter-final rematch from earlier this week against Lake Mary, Florida, representing the Southeast division, ending their run at the national championship tournament.
Lake Mary advanced to the final four teams with the next round, Saturday, and the final on Sunday.
Lake Mary beat Snohomish 14-0 in the first game of the tournament to start the week, putting Snohomish into the consolation round where they win the next two games handily to stay alive before today’s defeat.
