EVERETT, MARCH 31: The City of Everett, Port of Everett, and Snohomish County Sports Commission are teaming up to host a series of family-friendly Waterfront Watch Parties during the 2026 FIFA World Cup (FWC). These Waterfront Watch Parties will take place on June 11, 12, 18, and 19. Large outdoor match screenings will allow guests to cheer on their team, and local food and beverage vendors are needed to enhance the experience.
This upcoming event offers a unique platform for local food vendors to engage with the community and be part of a historic moment for the city of Everett. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for local food vendors to be a part of a high-energy waterfront experience expected to draw thousands. As Everett is gearing up to host its first-ever FWC 2026 Watch Party, bringing together an estimated 5,000 attendees per event, for a vibrant, community-driven experience at Boxcar Park located by the waterfront.
This inaugural event offers local vendors a unique opportunity to highlight their business, connect with a large audience, and be part of a historic moment for the city. Selected vendors will have the chance to operate in a high-traffic, high-visibility environment designed to celebrate community, culture, and global sport. Accepted vendors will be notified the week of April 20, and they’ll receive event logistics the week of June 1.
The Greater Everett Chamber is a great resource for businesses looking to get involved. They have a playbook coming out soon and are hosting a Lunch & Learn on April 8 so businesses can learn how to participate in the fun.
Local businesses are encouraged to “get in on the games,” however that may look for their business – whether it’s a soccer-themed coffee special or decorating their restaurant in team colors. Port of Everett is looking to attract a variety of local food vendors that reflect the community and cater to every visitor. They are also looking to curate experiential and on-theme (soccer-related and family-friendly activities and booths) vendors. Those interested in that type of vending can reach out to Emma Leedy directly at [email protected].
